| Brief Description of the Project: The GESI mainstreaming and planning workshop aimed to ensure that successful practices in GESI integration are replicated in future planning, and areas needing improvement are addressed through concrete measures in local government strategies. The Social Development Department will take primary responsibility for managing GESI issues, working closely with other departments due to the integrated nature of the task. Key core areas where marginalized groups should be directly included in GESI-related projects and activities include agriculture, education, health, employment, capacity building and awareness, gender-based violence reduction, and infrastructure development. |
